Role Availability: All Plans of Freshteam 

Employees who are also Managers of Teams with a team of their own can get this role in Freshteam as it allows them to view candidates they are a part of in the Hiring Process and also information about their team i.e employees who report to him/her. This is an ideal role you can give to all managers in the company limiting their access to other sensitive information while providing information on their own team members and candidates. The hiring manager will just be an ‘employee’ role user outside of recruitment. They cannot view onboarding and HR-related fields in employee records.

So, let us see what an employee with the Hiring Manager can and cannot do.

    1. Active jobs will be visible but candidate information will not be accessible unless the user is part of the hiring team within the job.

    2. My active jobs - If the user is part of the hiring team of any active job - it will be listed under the ‘my active jobs’ section. Hiring managers will have access to these jobs and candidates.

  4. Job requisition section - Hiring managers will have access to raising job requisitions and checking the status of the same.

  5. Employee directory - Hiring managers will be able to view the public fields of other employees in the system.

  7. Time off

    2. My team time off

Benefits and Limitations

  1. Hiring managers can do the following - 

    1. Can raise a requisition and track the progress.

    2. Hiring manager users can be part of any job posting’s hiring team.

    3. can view all the candidates who are part of the job posting

    4. can send emails to candidates for the job

    5. can add comments on the candidate’s profile

    6. can send emails to candidates via Freshteam

    7. can reject a candidate from the job

    8. can move candidates across stages in the hiring process.

    9. can add followers to a candidate profile who is part of the job

    10. can add a task to a fellow hiring team member

    11. can view the timeline of a candidate

    12. can archive a candidate to the talent pool

    13. can view the offer letter shared with the candidate

    14. can give feedback on a candidate

  1. They cannot do the following

    1. cannot schedule interviews with candidates - Only a recruiter can.

    2. cannot delete or block a candidate

    3. cannot move the candidate to another job

    4. cannot modify the candidate profile details - Only a recruiter can.

    5. Do not have access to onboarding

    6. Do not have access to offboarding

    7. Cannot view all the employee fields
