1. Why can't I see my job posting on Indeed?
Ans: Indeed automatically pauses Free job listings with some frequency(Monthly or Quarterly). Check the status of the job and you will find the Indeed status is changed to Paused in Freshteam automatically. Indeed will send email notifications to the admins whenever jobs are expired. Freshteam will not send any notifications. Users can re-publish jobs by resuming them within Freshteam or directly on Indeed.
2. Candidates applying for my Indeed job post are not created on Freshteam. How to solve this?
Ans: Whenever a job is published from Freshteam to Indeed, by default we will set the Application Method as 'Application URL' and the url is set as "https://sharmiprs5030.freshteam.com/jobs/aQOc95c23C-j/accounting-clerk?ft_source=4000096128&ft_medium=4000120031"(sample url).
When a candidate tries to apply for a job through Indeed, on clicking on the Apply button, the candidate will get redirected to the above url. If the CX edits this Application Method in the Edit Job details section directly on Indeed, this application method will get removed completely. So when candidates try to apply for this job, they will get to apply directly on Indeed and will get created as candidates only in Indeed but not in Freshteam. To make it work, CX has to republish the job, since we cannot retrieve the Application URL once it is updated in Indeed directly.
3. I'm facing an authentication error. What should I do?
Ans: To solve this error, please integrate with Indeed again.
4. What is a sponsored job? Why should I sponsor job postings on Indeed?
Ans: Sponsored Jobs are the paid job postings that appear on the top and bottom of the search results on indeed. Sponsored Jobs are published by employers to attract more quality talent as they receive 5x more clicks than the organically listed jobs.
5. What is Indeed pay per click budget?
Ans: Sponsored Jobs are based on pay for performance model. You can set a monthly budget and only pay when a candidate clicks to view your job. The cost per click charges is variable. The higher you spend, the greater is the visibility of your ad.
6. How much should I spend on a sponsored job campaign?
Ans: With Indeed, you can set your average daily budget. For instance, if your daily budget is $50, you can receive 50 new applicants each time an applicant clicks on your ad. Ideally, your budget depends on how many jobs you have, the type of jobs, your location, and industry.
7. Can I change my budget once the job is posted?
Ans: Yes, you can modify your budget at any point in time.
8. If I edit the job posting, will the changes be reflected on Indeed?
Ans: Yes, you can edit your job posting from within Freshteam and it would be reflected on Indeed.
9. How do I know when my job posting will be live on Indeed?
Ans: Our integration with Indeed now enables jobs to go live instantly after creating and publishing them within your ATS.
10. Why didn’t my job get posted on Indeed?
Ans: Your job may not initially appear in the search results due to any one of the following reasons:
In case of Sponsored Jobs, you will have to put in your billing information and credit card details. Had you not, your campaign will have been withheld.
Your job might have been paused or closed. To enable your job, go to jobs and update the status of your job.
Perhaps your account is under review by the Search Quality team.
Ensure you have confirmed the email id that you used to log into your account. Your jobs will not be posted until your id is unverified.
You need to get your Indeed account verified with your proof of identity such as LinkedIn or Google.
Ensure you adhere to the job posting guidelines of Indeed.
Your sponsored job has reached its daily budget limit.

Ans: Indeed and Glassdoor, being sister companies, have joined hands in helping employers scout for talent efficiently. This means, any job posted on Indeed will be automatically posted on Glassdoor. To go in detail,
Indeed- platform where you post free and sponsored job postings, which will be also listed on Glassdoor.
Glassdoor - platform for improving your employer brand. Job seekers can additionally apply for jobs that are posted via Indeed, on Glassdoor. You can no longer post jobs directly on Glassdoor.
13. How were jobs posted on Glassdoor and Indeed before the partnership?
Ans: Earlier, Indeed and Glassdoor were treated as two separate job boards. Freshteam would let you post jobs for free both on Indeed and Glassdoor. Freshteam also supports sponsored postings on Indeed.
14. How does Freshteam post jobs on Indeed and Glassdoor now?
Ans: Henceforth, Freshteam will post all jobs on Indeed, which will be automatically posted on Glassdoor as well. Freshteam will no longer post jobs on Glassdoor separately.
15. Do I need separate Indeed and Glassdoor accounts for posting jobs?
Ans: Yes. You need to maintain separate accounts both in Indeed and Glassdoor.
16. Do I need a paid account with Indeed to post jobs on both Indeed and Glassdoor?
Ans: No, there’s no need to pay a fee for posting both free and sponsored posts on Indeed and Glassdoor.
17. Can I track the number of candidates sourced from Glassdoor?
Ans: While this was previously possible, since the partnership, it has changed. For all the jobs from Indeed and Glassdoor, Freshteam will tag only Indeed as the source.
18. Will my job posting history on Glassdoor be moved to Indeed?
Ans: No. You should be able to access all your old job postings under ‘Employer centre’ on Glassdoor. However, all the new job postings via Indeed can be accessed only on Indeed.
