A Sponsored Job is a paid listing that is displayed in relevant search results. Because of increased visibility over time, Sponsored Jobs help deliver more quality applicants to your job openings than free listings. The primary benefit of sponsoring your job on Indeed is increased visibility.

Sponsoring Jobs on Indeed 

1. How to enable sponsored jobs on Indeed?

To post sponsored jobs on indeed, ensure you have enabled Indeed integration from Settings > Integration. Now that you’ve enabled sponsored jobs on Indeed, the next step is to add a budget to run the sponsored jobs.

Adding and Updating Budget

1. How to add budget for Sponsored Jobs?

Sponsored jobs require you to add a budget based on how much you are ready to spend on each click your job receives. To add a budget for sponsored jobs:

• Go to Recruit > jobs 

• Click details on the job for which you want to run sponsored ads

• Click on job boards

• Under sponsored jobs, against Indeed, click add budget.

• Adding a budget will require you to perform the following steps:

• Choose the type of budget

• Set a budget

• Set an end date for the sponsorship 

• Done with all the steps? Click add budget. You have successfully added the budget for your sponsored job.

2. How to Update the Budget for an Active Job?

Sometimes you may want to increase or decrease your budget based on the performance of a job ad. You can update your budget anytime by simply performing the following steps:

• Go to Recruit > jobs 

• Click details on the job for which you want to run sponsored ads

• Click job boards

• Under sponsored jobs, against Indeed, click update > change budget.

• You will be shown a prompt in which you can change the type, time period or amount of the budget. Select the options that would work for you.

• Click update budget.

• You may also choose to end sponsorship from this point if you want to by clicking end sponsorship.

Pausing/Resuming/Ending a Sponsorship

1. How to pause an active job posting?

• Go to recruit > jobs 

• Click details on the job for which you want to run sponsored ads

• Click job boards

• Under sponsored jobs, against Indeed, click update > pause job posting

• You will see a prompt that will ask you to confirm the pause. 

• Click on Confirm.

2. How to End a Sponsored Job?

You can end a sponsorship at any point in time. To end it,

• Go to recruit > jobs 

• Click details on the job for which you want to run sponsored ads

• Click job boards

• Under sponsored jobs, against indeed, click update >end of sponsorship.

• On selecting that you will be prompted to confirm if you still want to end the sponsorship 

• In the prompt, you may now choose to end it while keeping your job posted on free listing else you may uncheck it.

• Click End.

3. How to resume sponsorship?

If you want to resume a paused sponsorship, you can enable it by carrying out the following steps:

• Go to recruit > jobs 

• Click details on the job for which you want to run sponsored ads

• Click job boards

• Under sponsored jobs, against Indeed, click update > resume job posting. On doing this, your job becomes active and any previously set budget continues to be spent.

4. What are Indeed sponsored job credits?

When you choose to integrate Freshteam and Indeed, you need to log in with your Indeed username/password and link your "Indeed Employer Account" with Freshteam. If you don't have an Indeed Employer Account, you can create it right from within Freshteam. When you do this, you get free credits from Indeed to Sponsor your Job Postings, based on your region.
