Accessible to Admin, Account Admin, HR Partner, Recruiter, Limited HR Partner, and Limited Recruiter. 

Placeholders are used in templates to help you insert dynamic content and personalize the information you wish to communicate to candidates and employees. We use them in three places across Freshteam: Offer Templates, Email Notifications and Canned Responses.

Note: Offer Templates are available only on the Garden and Estate plans of Freshteam. 

To access these placeholders in Email Notifications, 

Note: Only Admin and Account Admin can perform actions regarding Email Notifications. 

1. Go to Settings > Productivity > Email Notifications.

2. Under Email Notifications, choose which notification you want to edit, click on the Edit icon next to it. 

3. Once in this page, select Insert Placeholder to insert the placeholder of your choice. 

4. Preview the change and select Save to save the changes made.

To access these placeholders in Canned Responses, 

1. Go to Settings > Productivity > Canned Responses.

2. Under Canned Responses, you can edit existing response and add placeholder to it. 

3. You can also Add New response and add placeholder to it. 

4. Once in this page, select Insert Placeholder icon ( < > ) to insert the placeholder of your choice. 

5. Preview the change and select Save to save the changes made.

To access these placeholders in Offer Templates, 

1. Go to Settings > Offer > Templates.

2. Under Templates, you can edit existing template and add placeholder to it. 

3. You can also Add New template and add placeholder to it. 

4. Once in this page, select Insert Placeholder icon ( < > ) to insert the placeholder of your choice. 

5. Preview the change and select Save to save the changes made.

Offer Module has gone through a nice revamp and now has more placeholders in the Salary section to make your life easier as a recruiter! Here is the list of the newly added placeholders you can find in the product for your quick reference:
